He started private practice with the Director of the program, Dr Jack O’Leary in 1982. Dr. O’Leary was a master surgeon with a gentleman’s demeanor. He taught me that no matter how difficult the presenting condition, and the degree of patient concern, they must be treated with utmost respect. In fact, the Golden Rule became part of our Mission Statement. Dr. O’Leary completed my training, teaching all aspects of running an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Center.
